Aug 8, 2007	The dedication ceremony for the new station 3 at 9096 Joliet Rd, Hodgkins, is tentatively scheduled for September 8, 2007 at 10:00 am, stay tuned.
Sep 8, 2007	A newly built station 3 was dedicated today.  The station was built to allow the consolidation of the former station 3 at 6825 Santa Fe Dr and station 4 at 5745 LaGrange Rd.

Jun 14, 2011	Deputy Chief Kevin Doyle was appointed the new Chief Administrator effective July 9, 2011 by the Board of Trustee's to replace retiring Chief Administrator Dan Hermes.
Jun 30, 2011	Director of Communications Ed Milam and Finance Director Pat Peck retired after 23 and 22 years of service, respectively.
July 1, 2011	Bill Srejma is appointed to Director of Communications and Kathy Kirk is appointed to Director of Finance.
July 2, 2011	FF Larry Mendrala retires after 21 years of service.
July 8, 2011	Captain Al Jesionowski retires after 29 years of service.
July 8, 2011	Dan Hermes retires as Fire Chief Administrator after 34 years of service.
July 12, 2011	Lt. John Buckley was promoted to Deputy Chief Administrator; Lt Mike Herbert was promoted to Captain; FF Ken Brucki and FF Dan Jurka were promoted to Lieutenant.
