CART White Team

Combined Agency Response Team (CART) is an organized response to a technical rescue emergency.  In addition to the training that these firefighters need for firefighting and EMS, they also have advanced specialty training  Their training specializes in emergencies involving:

  • High-Angles (water towers, scaffolding, etc)

  • Confined spaces (spaces with restricted oxygen)

  • Trenches (pits, construction areas, etc)

  • Collapses (Buildings, bridges, etc)

There are several CART teams throughout Northeast Illinois. Firefighters from Pleasantview and LaGrange FD comprise the CART WHITE team.
